Information You Provide Directly: 

We collect information you provide directly upon registration, such as your name, email address, contact number, DOB, Gender, Profile Picture, PMDC number, and professional qualifications (including your degree, hospital and designation). Keep in mind that even upon granting media access, Mashwara will only read the file/document/image that the user wants it to (by click).  

Device Information: 

We may collect information about your device, including the model, operating system version, unique identifiers, and location, provided you have granted permission for location access. 

Patient Information: We collect patient information shared by you, including medical history, symptoms, and appointment details. This information is handled with the utmost confidentiality.

Permissions

Mashwara requests specific permissions to offer an optimized experience. These permissions are optional and require your explicit consent. You may manage them through your device settings: 

• Location: Used to suggest nearby healthcare facilities and offer location-based services. 

• Camera: For document scanning or online video consultations. 

• Microphone: For voice interactions or audio recording during video or audio consultations.

Payment Methods: 

Mashwara enables payments for services via credit cards, debit cards, mobile wallets, and other digital methods. Users are responsible for providing accurate payment information.  

1. Payment Security: 

Mashwara ensures secure payment processing through an encrypted payment gateway. We do not store any sensitive financial details, and all transactions are protected with industry-standard security protocols. While digital payments are secure, users are encouraged to be mindful of potential, although rare, online risks. 

2. Responsibility for Accuracy: 

Users are accountable for ensuring the accuracy of payment details. Errors in information or unauthorized payments may lead to delays or issues with processing. 

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy: 

If a user cancels an appointment, any applicable refund will be processed per the cancellation policy, potentially subject to charges. Refunds may take up to seven working days. 

4. Liability Disclaimer: 

Mashwara is not liable for any errors, delays, or damages arising from the payment process, including unauthorized access to payment information. All payments are processed through a third-party payment platform, and Mashwara is not liable for any transactions or disputes related to these payments.

Mashwara is ISO 27001 certified, adhering to stringent international standards for information security. All user data is encrypted, ensuring it remains confidential and protected from unauthorized access.

6. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

All disputes regarding payments or service usage are governed by the laws of Pakistan and will be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration Act, 1940.

7. Usage Information

We may collect information on how you use the App, including features accessed and searches performed.

8. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: 

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and Services. 

• Create and manage user accounts. 

• Communicate with you. 

• Send promotional materials, with your consent.

For optimized performance, Mashwara will use only designated mobile storage, ensuring no personal storage space is utilized. Clearing the App’s cache may result in the loss of some temporary data.

We will not share your information with any other third parties without your consent unless required by law.
